Don Bosco Fambul	Freetown	Educator, Counseling, Vocational training	Located in the poor capital city of Freetown, Don Bosco Fambul offers a refuge and support center for many of the local youth. Run by the Salesian fathers, this site offers SLMs the opportunity to work in outreach programs for the street kids - inviting those kids into the shelter to aid them in finding a stable solution to their problems. On-site counseling is offered as well as vocational training to the kids. The reality of many of the kids' situation is difficult to understand, but all SLMs who have worked in Freetown know that a positive presence and encouraging words are vital to the success of the kids.
