Located in southern Sudan, the Salesians have been present in Wau for the last 23 years offering education, medical care, and vocational training to the local population. The Salesians have two primary schools run by the Salesian sisters, a vocational training center run by the Salesian fathers and a health center that offers numerous programs: outpatient care, mother/child health program, nutrition program, health education, immunization, community health workers training, and a nurse training program. There is currently a need for nursing tutors, dentists, lab technicians, eye specialists, pipe fitters, construction workers, and teachers.
