At the Marian Shrine in Haverstraw-Stony Point, N.Y., Brother Michael Leschinsky was ordained deacon on Saturday, May 22. The ordination Mass was part of the New Rochelle Province’s annual Marian Day celebration–the external feast of Mary Help of Christians for the Salesian Family and the friends of the Marian Shrine. Bishop Dominic Marconi, a retired auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Newark, N.J., presided. Bro. Leschinsky, a member of the community of Orange, N.J., is studying theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University.
